Repairing the glass for the Samsung Models requires very specific skillset, it's highly difficult for a beginner to perform this repair successfully. We do not recommend attemting the repair on your own, many customers have come after they attempt the repair and have damaged the LCD screen. If you shop around for the LCD on Galaxy phones, they cost 2-3 times more than what we charge to repair it for you.

Beware!

Beware of other repair shops that do not put LOCA on the LCD when installing the new glass! LOCA is a critical part of the glass/lcd assembly if it is not put in the glass will eventually fall out and the sensitivity of the phone will not be the same.
Our experienced technicians have performed hundreds of repairs, rest assure your phone is in good hands.
Please watch the video below to get an idea of the repair process.

Samsung galaxy note 2014 10.1 inch glass replacement!

Is this post we layout the process for the samsung galaxy note 10.1 2014 glass replacement only!

The first step is to make sure the glass is the only piece that's broken so make sure to turn it on and you're able to see the full picture. If you're not able to see anything or only part of the screen then you will have to replace the LCD as well.

In this case the tablet turns on and we are able to see everything fine.

Step 1

Carefully remove the back cover use a pry tool to go around the entire tablet until all the clips are released.

Step 2

Remove the frame

Step 3

At this point you can begin removing the glass. It is a very delicate procedure and if you don't have enough experience working with galaxy phones you should not try this.

The glass and the LCD are glued together with loca glue so you will have to heat up the entire screen and carefully pry them apart. This is what it looks like after you successfully remove the screen.

Step 4

Remove the glue residue that's left behind, you can use goo gone and alcohol. Once the LCD is nice and clean you're now ready to install the new glass!

This process is very difficult and should not be performed by anyone that's doing a repair of this kind for the first time.
Always search for a professional in your area to perform this repair.

Here at NJ Phone Fix we're privileged to put this information out into the internet for the world to see, always try and save your devices by repairing them it's good for the environment, it supports your local repair shops and it's good for your wallet!

Until next time

Galaxy S3 Charger Port Repair- Galaxy S3 Not Charging

Problems Charging your Samsung Galaxy S3 phone?

For some reason this repair seem to be very popular with samsung galaxy s3 phones, there are many reasons as to why the charger port on your samsung galaxy s3 phone gets damaged.

What causes the port to break?

  1. Dropping the phone while it's being charged
  2. Using aftermarket chargers
  3. Using other usb adapters

Symptoms of Damaged Charger Port

  1. Need to jiggle the charger port in order to get a good connection.
  2. NOTHING happens when usb charger is connected to the phone.

 How to Repair this problem

unfortunately there is no simple solution for this problem, you will have to replace the charger port on your phone. I do not recommend for beginners to attempt this repair on their own since it requires excellent soldering skills. As you can see from the image above the damaged usb port needs to come out from the motherboard and the new one needs to be installed.
In this image you can see the new port has successfully been installed!
And now to see if the new one works
VIOLA! The phone works perfectly

Again this repair is not one that is recommended for beginners or inexperienced users.

Let us do it for you!

If you live close to Jersey City NJ you can trust in NJ Phone Fix with your Galaxy S3 charger port Repair you can bring your phone into our office and we'll have it back up within half an hour.

Samsung Galaxy S3 screen repair!

I am happy to announce to our customers that there is now an affordable solution for the Samsung Galazy S3 Screen Repair. NJ Phone Fix is now providing Samsung Galaxy S3 screen repair service for $99 and yes we will only replace the glass no more ridiculous quotes of $200+ to repair your phone.

How does it work?

1) The process to fix the phone is very difficult and should only be tried by an experienced technician. The LCD on the phone can be very easily damaged and to replace it will cost over $180  just for the part.
2) In order to separate the lcd from the glass there needs to be enough heat between the glass and the lcd.
3) Once the adhesive has been heated enough, the glass can be pulled to separate it
4) Put in the new glass and enjoy!

Why Choose NJ Phone Fix?

I have successfully replaced the screen on many Samsung Galaxy S3 phones. I suggest that you DO NOT try to replace the glass yourself if you have no technical experience while it may look easy it will cost over $200+ in repair to replace the LCD if it gets damaged. I've been in the cell phone repair business for 5 years and have extensive experience in this field, rest assure when you bring in your phone it will be in good hands.
