ipad 3 Repair - How to repair an ipad 3 with broken speaker.

How to replace the speaker on an ipad 3?

In the occasion in which you stop hearing any sound from your ipad 3 don't worry it can be fixed! it will be a difficult fix that should only be trusted to an experienced technician.

I've been asked the reasons for why the speaker will go bad and quite simply it just does, maybe too much music being played or too many games being played at the highest volume setting.

How to repair it?

1. take the glass off
2. remove the lcd
3. remove the charger port
4. remove the motherboard
5. remove the battery
6. remove the loud speaker
7. Now put it all back together

As you can see the ipad 3 broken speaker is more complicated than just replacing the broken glass. I must say this repair is difficult for two reasons 1) You have to take the glass off without breaking it and 2) Removing the battery is very tricky, it is held down by lots of adhesive. Galaxy S3 Charger Port Repair- Galaxy S3 Not Charging

Problems Charging your Samsung Galaxy S3 phone?

For some reason this repair seem to be very popular with samsung galaxy s3 phones, there are many reasons as to why the charger port on your samsung galaxy s3 phone gets damaged.

What causes the port to break?

1. Dropping the phone while it's being charged
2. Using aftermarket chargers
3. Using other usb adapters 

Symptoms of Damaged Charger Port

1. Need to jiggle the charger port in order to get a good connection.
2. NOTHING happens when usb charger is connected to the phone.

 How to Repair this problem

unfortunately there is no simple solution for this problem, you will have to replace the charger port on your phone. I do not recommend for beginners to attempt this repair on their own since it requires excellent soldering skills. As you can see from the image above the damaged usb port needs to come out from the motherboard and the new one needs to be installed.

iMessage- How to get imessage to work after ios 7 update?

After updating my phone to ios7 everything seemed fine up until I wanted to send imessage .

Every time I tried to enable it by using my apple id and password it will send back an error saying "cannot connect to account blah blah blah" after trying several times with wifi and 4g I decided it was time to do something else.

1. I reset the network settings
2. I did a "hard boot" on the phone this is when you hold the power button and the home button down at the same time until the phone turns off and comes back on, when you see the apple logo come back release the buttons.

That did it afterwards I tried to enter my apple id and password to set up imessage and it worked first try for those that don't know where to do this you go to settings>messages.

If imessage is activated the phone will not prompt you to do so!

Now simply enter your carrier settings for your network and viola!
